Geraldine L. Mills, Age 78, of Belleville, MI, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at Bortz Health Care Center, Ypsilanti, MI. She was born November 8, 1934 in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Henry & Bertha (Clark) Flateau.

She retired from the Veteran Administration Hospital as a Registered Nurse after many years of loyal service to her patients. She was a member of the Belleville Women of the Moose and loved her family.

Geraldine is survived by two sons, John Mills of Belleville and Mark (Carolyn) Mills of Kansas City, Missouri, granddaughter Emily, and great-grand Adin. She was preceded in death by her husband Emmett Mills, Jr. on January 7, 2002, daughter Pamela Ann Mills on April 6, 2010 also a brother, Jimmy.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial gathering will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. at the Belleville Loyal Order of Moose at 831 E. Huron River Drive, Belleville.
